Vinyl decking is a solid, cellular PVC deck plank. It is 5.5” wide and 1” thick. Customized Vinyl carries both Azek and Veka Deck. Unlike composite decking, there are no wood fillers, polyethylene or polypropylenes (think plastic milk jugs) in our products. All the material is poly vinyl chloride. (PVC) The material has a U-V Protectant making the deck barefoot friendly, and not get hot like a wood or composite deck. Vinyl Decking has no absorbency rate. Deck planks won’t absorb moisture and swell, nor will they stain. Mustard, ketchup, & grease off the grill are no longer a worry with a vinyl deck. Studies show that the average customer will spend the same amount of money over a 5-7 year timeframe on a wood deck than what the initial cost of a vinyl deck is.
